Time is always Right for Right Thinking and Right Actions…

The prison of our mind is a dungeon with fortified bars, and having the right thinking and actions will brake its bars –  the time is always right for that.

We need the right thinking approach, apply the right guidelines and put them into actions, so as to be productive and to obtain the right results.

We need to be right thinkers to know who we are, recognise and leverage our strengths, along with understanding and managing our weaknesses, strive for and think of the right way to achieve our purposes, aspirations and objectives – this will help us to make the most of, and amplify our gifts and skillsets;  so that we may be the best version of ourselves and make a positive impact on society, by the grace of God.

When we start thinking right, in time our thoughts will straighten out. Right thinking will result in right living as wrong thinking will lead to wrong living. “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:” Proverbs 23:7a  Hence, a man who thinks wickedly will live wickedly and a man that thinks right will live right.

Man is amazing because he takes after the image of God.

“Right Thoughts and Right Actions Make a Potent Positive Combination. ” ~ Dr. Cheong Kok Weng

Today is another day – may God be with us in our having the right thinking and right actions.  May He help us in our endeavour to write a great page for today within the October paragraph of Chapter 2024, in the book of our life.

God tells and reminds us further:

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:8

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

Bow down thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply thine heart unto my knowledge.” Proverbs 22:17

“The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.” Proverbs 12:5

“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Isaiah 1:18

The Desire to Change is a Powerful Force, Empowering the First Step and Beyond. ~ Cheong Kok Weng

Indeed, we are given a Powerful attribute by our CREATOR – the power of choice. With this we may activate the Desire to Change in us, thus empowering us to take the important first step and beyond.

Changing in the right direction is indeed the right direction and the first step to change is awareness. We need to change if we do not like something – to improve is to change. It’s often said that change is the only constant in life.

“The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking”. -Albert Einstei

We can also make a real to choice to repent of our sins and choose to follow God.

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:12-14‬

“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”
‭‭John‬ ‭7:37-38‬ ‭

Take Action Daily, No Matter how Slow IT IS, Progress is Still Made. ~ Cheong Kok Weng

Some helpful points to remember to establish sustainable routine that produces progress on daily basis:

1.  Remember the reason why we started the journey – so keep moving forward everyday.

2. The path may be long and winding. Realise how far we have already journeyed – continue the push forward and ahead.

3.  Make it a habit to start day to day –  habit is formed through conscious repeated actions.

4. Do not be distracted, be focus of what is needed to be done day after day.

5. Any available time is a right time to take action and do it.  Small steps forward are valuable too.

6. Take a courageous stand to stop procrastinating.

7. Remember the cost of a day missed – it needs a double up the next day to catch up.

Napoleon Hill quoted ” The important thing after setting a goal is taking action.”

Take time to admire the beauty of nature and remember God who created them for our enjoyment too.

We are blessed on planet earth,  with the fingerprint of the Creator all around us.  The beauty may be observed anywhere on this beautiful blue planet,  the only inhabited planet of the 9 planets in the Solar System and beyond.

Small miracles are all around us if we care to notice, like for instance a seed germinating when it touches the soil . We simply need to go outside and take a look around with intellectual  and conscious cognition of all the great and wonderful creations of God which we see daily. We may then unearth  the plenteous creative comeliness of nature which may bring about (if we allow it) a spiritual heightening deep in our soul of our Creator’s matchless creativity.

For in the true nature of things, if we rightly consider, every green tree is far more glorious than if it were made of gold and silver. -Martin Luther King Jr.

It is profitable when we put knowledge into practice. ~ Cheong Kok Weng

Man is what he believes. –  Anton Chekhov

Things We may Learn from a tree.

Good thoughts for reflection – from the trees that God has created for this World…

“Stand tall and have dignity.

Stay grounded .

Reach upwards and outwards.

Be adaptable.

Get rid of dead branches; unproductive things and activity

Continue to grow  – continue to learn new things.

Turn over a new leaf – regeneration.

Enjoy the view – take time to be grateful.”

Life is a matter of Choice & Decision. It drives you to your destination on planet earth and life beyond. ~ Cheong Kok Weng

Time and tide wait for no man. it goes on inexorably.

Life is made up of an “infinite” amount of choices and decisions within the framework of the time dimension.

There are the big decisions – the ones which can change our life – forever.  Daily small decisions can also change our destiny.

There is a “force embedded” in decisions and we are primarily responsible for our choices, and the rewards or consequences will follow the decision made.  Every decision we choose will make us who we are, in the final analysis – we are what we decide to be.

May we decide to choose to do what is right and good daily.

Implicit in decision making is the FREEWILL to CHOOSE  which is a birthright given to mankind by our CREATOR right from the beginning in the Garden of Eden.

Genesis 2:16-17

“And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”

The first parents of mankind in Eden chose to sin, unfortunately and the consequences of sin fell on mankind thereafter.

Yesterday is Done, Today We Can Redo or Restart. ~ Cheong Kok Weng

We take courage and use our yesterday’s disappointments and ‘non fulfilment’ as rungs of the ladder to reach our desired intent or goals.

Today is the day to take action, that ‘s to step up, redo or start over. We thank our Creator for TODAY.

BEGINNING  today, we would have crossed the mental threshold of inertial as the friction in an endeavour is the beginning. The starting in small ways do produce the momentum and it is easier to continue moving forward thereafter.

The “planting” of passion and persistence will result in a bountiful harvest in time to come.

The results of the human resolve to persevere, to strive for improvement and be innovative (you can “reinvent” the wheel! ).
