For as the heavens are high above the earth,
\nSo<\/i>\u00a0great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;
\nAs far as the east is from the west,
\nSo<\/i>\u00a0far has He removed our transgressions from us.<\/em>”\u00a0Psalm 103:11-12<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

“But the mercy of the\u00a0Lord\u00a0is<\/i>\u00a0from everlasting to everlasting
\nOn those who fear Him,
\nAnd His righteousness to children\u2019s children,
\nTo such as keep His covenant,

East and West will never meet.\u00a0This is an illustrative portrait of God\u2019s forgiveness \u2013 when He forgives our sin, he separates it from us and will not remember it. We need never wallow in the bygones \u2013 God has wiped our record clean, when we have a remorseful and repentant heart – putting our trust and faith in Him.<\/p>\n

God is the\u00a0Lawgiver\u00a0<\/span>and<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Judge. God knows our human condition, but our weakness should not be used as a justification for sin.\u00a0<\/span>God is merciful, compassionate and is concerned for us. At the Cross of Calvary – when Jesus died for us, God’s mercy and justice met. We need to repent, trust & believe God – His mercy takes everything into account and He will then deal with us compassionately.<\/span><\/p>\n
