The time had come now for Jesus to leave the earth<span style=\"color: #33cccc;\">&#8230;&#8230;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Jesus and his disciples arrived in Bethany, they gathered at the Mount of Olives.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Jesus, in miraculous fashion, physically ascended &#8211; was lifted off the ground and began floating upward and this was a visible event, witnessed by His disciples on Mt. Olivet, about 2 miles east of Jerusalem.<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel,&#8221;\u00a0Acts 1:9-10<\/p>\n<p>\u201c&#8230;Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This\u00a0<i>same<\/i>\u00a0Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.\u201dActs 1:11<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #33cccc;\">&#8230;&#8230;.<\/span> until the time of His Second Coming.<\/p>\n<p>Jesus said of His Second Coming to Earth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; \u00a0men\u2019s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. \u00a0Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. \u00a0Luke 21:25-27<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.
