We are grateful to God who gives us the dawn of the new day, each day.

We can break free from the inaction of the past because God gives us the powerful will and it is up to us to exercise the will and take immediate action.

We can do it, by the power of the will that God has graciously granted to us.

Praise be to God, our Maker.

Malaysia had its recent 14th general election. And the results was a triumphant victory against gross corruptions perpetrated by the previous Prime Minister,  where billions were stolen from the nation’s coffer; with proof by the Department of Justice, USA that US$781 millions alone went into his private account in one of the banks in Kuala Lumpur.

A new government came into existence after 61 years.

The people of Malaysia rose to the occasion, and base on evidence, facts & truth, among others, booted out the previous extremely corrupt and draconian regime.

A new dawn of a refreshing era has arrived in Malaysia.

We praise the Almighty God for this.

Believing a lie is a collaborative act and of self-abdication. Lie’s potency spring forth when someone else agrees to believe the falsehood.~ Cheong Kok Weng

So we exist, it would appear, in a world where truth is punished and liars may lie at will.

Liars and believing a lie are both in the “similar or same camp” – they “walked crookedly”.

People choose to believe lies because, they do not love the truth and delight in unrighteousness.

In addition, among others; they are afraid of the truth or understanding the truth of things may not be a positive experience as truth may result in  pain, especially if one has deluded himself for a long time.  Why bother with unfortunate truths when you can delude yourself with a pleasant lie.

Some would rather wear lenses that filter out seeing the truths and wear auditory earpieces that only tune-in to hear things that match what they want to believe rather than deal with unpleasant truth. Believing and obeying the lies, expecting to reach the same result as believing and obeying truth is patently false.

We should also be aware of those who prevaricate their dealings with us – those who deliberately mislead in sneaky ways as they are intentionally dishonest.

At the end of day, God has these to say to those who choose to lie as a lifestyle.

“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8

Romans 1:18-32

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

2 Thessalonians 2:10-12

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Every single day, God gives us the choice to make wise choices for TODAY. ~ Cheong Kok Weng

We make decisions daily, whatever we do is a result of a choice. We need to ask before we choose and embark on an action: “Is there wisdom in that action?”

Attitude, optimism, taking right actions, standing for what is right, doing the right things, etc is a choice. Whatever choice we make, “makes” us. May we choose wisely.

“So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;

Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;

If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;

Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.

For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭2:2-7‬

Each day’s morning light is a fresh day of God’s mercy and hope; may we be energised to do what matters today. ~ Cheong Kok Weng

Each new morning light brings new mercies from God and with it, hope. We have the choice to make, to be energised to do what matters most for each day.

May we not let the past shape or define the future, and what we are capable of doing today from the great potential that God has given us ; and cut off any weights  or negative associations that drag us down.

God gives us the power of the will and choice to decide to DO  what MATTERS, each DAY.

The choice rest with us TODAY.  May God help us act wisely.

“It is as sport to a fool to do mischief: but a man of understanding hath wisdom.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭10:23‬ ‭

“A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth. Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge. The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit. Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭14:6-9‬ ‭

Thoughts are the seeds that shape our actions and destiny, make sure we plant good thoughts. ~ Cheong Kok Weng

Thoughts are the seeds that shape our actions and destiny, make sure we plant good thoughts.

God gave us our mind and the power to make choices.

Our minds are powerful, and our thoughts will shape who we are and will become – this choice is ours to make.

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs‬ ‭4:23‬ ‭

“But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.” ‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:6‬ ‭

Blessed Easter.

HE is Risen. Jesus is Risen.  Death could not hold Him.   Rejoice in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

There is hope for mankind – renewal and new life in Christ Jesus.

The case for the resurrection .

“And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:4-9‬ ‭

1st Good Friday – Jesus Died for our sins so that we can be reconciled to God.

82D44F28-D48F-400A-B494-447515851538

Good Friday is good because Christ showed His great love for man, and paid the penalty of the sin of man, so that man may be reconciled with His Creator God.

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
‭‭John‬ ‭15:13‬

“No greater Love,” that is what is manifested to us in the death of Christ, the “no greater Love” that belongs to God, and which is made a gift to us in Jesus Christ who, as God the Son (The Triune God – ONE GOD in “3 Persons”) not only lowers Himself to become a man, but even chooses to lay down His life for us.

This is the greatest gift of God, the gift of His Eternal Love. It is this Life and Love which became incarnate in human flesh, and which reaches it’s most perfect and astounding manifestation in the act in which Christ as both Fully God and Fully man, laid down His human life for us; as for his friends, so we might share His Life and Love for all Eternity.

Good Friday is about a divine exchange: We give Christ our sins, and He gives us His fullness. We become righteous in God’s eyes as we are forgiven for all that we have done wrong.

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:21‬ ‭

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

The wise decision to plant a good seed now can make us enjoy the fruit in due season. ~ Cheong Kok Weng

From a small seed, a mighty tree emerged.  A seed is sown and planted into the ground; with time it grows into a large tree, then the flowers bloom and  it’s fruit ripen in due season. Change is a continuous process in our lives – may we with God’s help, continue to progress and soar;  with changes that come our way.

Thoughts are the seeds that shape our actions

and destiny.  ~ Cheong Kok Weng

“He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭19:8‬ ‭

Getting wisdom involves the will, affection for it and the intellect – the endeavour to use all available means to seek and find wisdom and prudence. In the process of the striving to obtain wisdom, reaching a higher faculty of reasoning and feelings; a person shows he has regard for the welfare of his soul, spirit and body.

We must remember the keeping of understanding shall find good, shall have great benefits for the conduct in this life. We are to guard it like precious treasure and it will bring us innumerable benefits.

He that is upright in judgment finds favour with God.
