“Humoural Immunity” – Humour contributes to a merry heart.

There is a healing effect in cheerfulness, being glad and joyful.

“A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.” Proverbs 17:22

“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24

The positive things about good sense of humour and laughter – it helps to enhance the immune system as opposed to stress. It improves your mood and personal satisfaction.

However it is not right to laugh at the expense of others or having forms of humour that are inappropriate – those that are bad or hurtful ones.

😂😂

Serious stuff in the midst of some humour.  Gates contributing to the good of society…

Humans are Wonderfully Creative.

Man is creative.

Humans are creative beings. Creativity involves thinking,  the producing and turning fresh, imaginative and resourceful  ideas into reality.

Humans may learn to improve his or her creativity by acquiring knowledge, culturing discipline and thinking skills – the courage to experiment, explore, questioning suppositions, using imagination and synthesizing information aid the process.

Human is inquisitive.

Humans make important discovery of the ‘everyday things’ of the world he lives in. The characteristics and the exact behaviour of the properties of materials bear testimony to a Creator behind it all.

Man is intelligent.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”  Genesis 1:27

Man is made in the image of God; what does this mean in practical terms? God is a Spirit and man is made from dust so it cannot be in reference to man’s biological body.
In the image of God means, man is endues with some of the Godlike attributes; intelligence, creativity, love, sense of justice, immortality (man’s soul is eternal) and freedom, among others – thereby separating and making man different from the beasts.

“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:24

“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7

Humans are funny 😅😝.

“But the fact that some geniuses were laughed at does not imply that all who are laughed at are geniuses. They laughed at Columbus, they laughed at Fulton, they laughed at the Wright Brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown.”

– Carl Sagan

“Laughing at our mistakes can lengthen our own life. Laughing at someone else’s can shorten it.”

– Cullen Hightower

“If you can’t live without me, why aren’t you dead already?”

– Cynthia Heimel

“Analyzing humor is like dissecting a frog. Few people are interested and the frog dies of it.”

– E. B. White

Humans are amazing.😅

A skillful, confident and brave  driver.

It’s like entering into a 🖼😉.

Beautiful scenery of God’s creation.

The Xihai or West Sea Canyon’s funicular in Huangshan mountains in China – folks traveling down the mountain in the popular Chinese tourist spot.

Huangshan literal meaning: Yellow Mountain, is a mountain range in the southern Anhui province. (About 430 km west of Shanghai).

Man’s Dominance on planet Earth.

God has complete sovereign power over His creation and has delegated the authority to mankind to “subdue” the earth – to have dominion over the animals, among others. Mankind was placed in an elevated role position of command and was to exercise dominion over the earth.
God’s command to subdue the earth, it is an authority to have the mastery over all of it.

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth”. Genesis 1:26

A genuine mastery cannot be achieved without the comprehension of the thing to be mastered. In order for a pianist  to master the piano, he or she must “practice” and “understand” the instrument. In order for mankind to “subdue” the animal kingdom, he must understand the animals.

‘With great power comes great responsibility ~ “Spider Man” ’. There is a fundamental accountability of being a good steward in the command given by God to mankind to subdue the earth; and with the authority to rule, there is the responsibility to rule justly and it does not suggest cruelty, maltreatment and exploitation – it is to care for, cultivate and employ the animals to their fullest potential in an appropriate and humane manner.

Created in the image of God, Adam and Eve were to use planet earth’s enormous resources and be good and responsible caretakers. This is God’s blessing to mankind.
At the time the command was given to man, man and animals do not eat meat.

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. Genesis 1:29 (Highlights – mine).

After the Fall of Man and the Floods, men can eat meat. Human continued rule over animals are to be humane – it does not mean they have the right to ill-treat or abuse the animals. (The current gross cruelty, heartlessness and viciousness by humans on the animals are the result of sin that entered into this world).

And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. Genesis 1:29

Disrupt yourself – why have X when there is a possibility of 10 Xs ?!

Good inputs from our fellow ‘man and woman’ on planet earth.👇

Quote: “Johnson’s thesis is that the S-curve help us understand the psychology of disruption ourselves. At first when we try something new the progress is slow but as we hit the steep part of the curve, the fun begins. As we near the peak of the curve, we are no longer emotionally rewarded. Johnson notes that with learning, progress doesn’t follow straight line. In order to reach mastery, we need to find ways to manage ourselves along the S-curve journey.” Unquote

Remember, the past is HISTORY and don’t wallow in it any more.

Let’s be grateful to God for today.. We can start again TODAY and not look back – let’s DO IT and there CERTAINLY  WILL BE POSITIVE CHANGES.

God gave us the Human DNA to be what we want to be (within the parameters of what a human can do and that’s hugh) – to achieve great things when we put our mind and efforts into it.  Consistency is one of the critical success factors.

Wishes all a wonderful and joyous new year.

May God grant us a blessed 2019.

Let’s welcome enthusiastically the potentials and positive changes of this new year; forget “what might have been” which was the last year’s voice.  This year is a fresh voice; let’s decide to move ahead from where we are and to do what’s essential, needful and doable, and to reach greater heights.

Each day of 2019 is a gift from God. Today is a New Beginning. Let us embrace our Creator God, have a renewed mind, be a better person and enjoy His faithfulness and blessings in our lives.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

2 Corinthians 5:17

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

Jeremiah 29:11-13

We choose our thoughts’ world. Let’s plant good thoughts.

Our thoughts world is in reality is a life-building process. It affects our actions and impact others too.

The choices and actions flow from the thoughts and the quality of the choices is directly related on our thoughts world.

We build our life through thoughts, leading to deeds and actions.  This lifetime of thoughts and actions form us – and this is ultimately our choice that God gave to us.

‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭30:15‬
